Purchase and Pickup Procedures at DOWNTOWN DUTY FREE
Please follow the following steps:

1. Duty free purchase may only be applicable when traveling to destinations outside the country.
2. Please show your passport (or its copy) which is valid during your purchase and pick up date.
3. Show your flight ticket or inform the staff of your flight number.
4. Pick up your purchased items at duty free pick up counter at departure terminal between Gate 31 – 36. The goods shall be kept at the airport for 60 days from the purchase date.
5. If you have cancelled your trip, you can authorize the proxy to pick up the goods on your behalf.
6. For those who do not travel outside the country, we would like to offer you the “TAKE WITHOUT FLIGHT” Promotion, allowing customers to buy blue tag items, including local products and certain imported items which are dutied items until.

Authorization of Proxy
Required documents:

1. Proxy Form Ask for the proxy from at RECEPTION counter of both downtown shops. Completely fill out the form. Please note that the whole form should be filled out with the same handwriting.
2. A certified copy of purchaser’s passport The passport shall be valid during the purchase and pick up date. Evidence of renewal, name or last name change is also required (if any). All pages should be signed and certified.
3. Receipt (Original)
4. Passport and Boarding Pass of the person whom the proxy was authorized (passengers only).
   (Crew on duty are not eligible in this case.)

Refund
Refund For Resale & Refund For Cash In Case The Customers Cannot Pick Up The Goods Within 60 Days From Purchase Date.

• Refund For Cash (customer does not want the purchased item): We reserve the right to withhold 10% of the refund amount.
• Refund For Resale (customer still would like to have the purchased item): The item shall be resold to customer, provided that the price is subject to change on the resale date. Customer may use KING POWER CARD, BIRTHDAY CARD, or GIFT VOUCHER to get the discount. (However, price of the purchased item must be higher or equal to amount previously purchased.)

If the customer lost the passport after purchase and does not travel outside the country, s/he cannot give proxy to another person. This is due to customs’ regulations which require passport for traveling outside the country.
