Sandalwood Essence, obtained through molecular distillation, brings grounding woodiness to the Gucci scent. THE BOTTLE A red bottle to reflect the disruptively innovative techniques used to recreate the floral fragrance of Osmanthus. Emblazoned with a hummingbird, it symbolises the master perfumer’s indomitable fast and free spirit. OLFACTIVE ALCHEMIST Master perfumer Natalie Lorson set out to reveal the quintessence of the Osmanthus through all the senses. Based on her expert interpretations and intuition, the technique she used brings both its texture and an appetising aura. A headspace technique was used to capture the original smell of the Osmanthus flower without extracting it.
