Can I immediately use the benefits after applying for the membership?
Yes, you can. You will receive a temporary member card for the purchase. A permanent member card will be issued within 30 working days.
What are the benefits for King Power members?
King Power members get a lot of benefits in addition to discounts:
- Exclusive benefits for members in promotional campaigns and special activities.
- Discounts at shops, hotels, resorts, spas, restaurants, golf clubs, travel agencies, airlines, limo services, travel insurances in Thailand and abroad, etc.
- Relaxation with free snacks and beverages at the King Power Lounge.
- Information on promotions and membership updates at the King Power Member Club and King Power Member Counter.
- Discount at the Asian Corner.
- Discount at the Kin Ramen.
- Discount at the Ramayana Restaurant.
- Discount at the Scene Bar.
- Discount at the Aksra Theatre.
- Discount at the Scene Shop.
- Discounts for room reservations, table reservations and spa reservations at the Pullman King Power Bangkok Hotel.
What are the conditions in buying King Power’s duty free products?
You simply show your passport, flight number, itinerary and King Power member card at the registration point. The items you shop will be ready for collection at the Pick – Up Counters in the departure lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport on your departure date.
If you travel with your agency or have a tentative schedule, you can purchase 60 days in advance. After your schedule is confirmed, please contact King Power Contact Centre at 1631 (Daily at 08.00 – 21.00 hrs.). We will prepare your shopping items at the Pick Up Counter near your gate. Please feel free to change your itinerary at the same phone number.
Should I buy King Power duty free products before departing from the country or after
arriving in the country?
You can buy King Power products both ways. Please check the items available at the departure terminal and arrival terminal at our website www.kingpower.com
What if I purchase but cancel my flight?
You can contact King Power Contact Centre at 1631 during 8.00-21.00 hrs daily to cancel within 60 days after your purchase.
King Power reserves the right to charge 10% of the purchase amount as processing fee.
Can I shop at King Power if I don’t have any overseas trips?
King Power welcomes everyone to our shop. If you want to buy duty free items but you are not making an overseas trip, you can ask your friend who is travelling abroad to buy them for you with the special privilege as a King Power member.
In addition, King Power also provides blue label items which you can take with you after the purchase. These items include electrical appliances, cameras, mobile phones, sport products, apparels, shoes, bags, toys, dolls, snacks, Thai silk products and spa products from leading brands. You can also enjoy our services at, among others, the Aksra Theatre and Ramayana Restaurant.
Can I carry purchased perfume and spray on board?
For security reason, regulations on carrying perfume, spray and liquid are rather strict. If you are travelling overseas, you must study the regulations of the country of destination. The basic regulations are as follows:

What is the procedure in picking up merchandise at Suvarnabhumi Airport?
Simply show your receipt or claim check receipt, passport, boarding pass at the Pick – Up Counter on the 4th floor of Suvarnabhumi Airport. There are two counters:
- Pick Up Counter 1 (East), next to Vat Refund, near Gate C1-C10, D1-D4
- Pick Up Counter 2 (West), next to Vat Refund, near Gate D5-D8, E1-E10, F1-F6, G1-G5
For your convenience, King Power prepares your purchased items at the Pick Up Counter on the same side of your gate. You can contact the Pick – Up Counter at least 30 minutes before boarding to verify your purchased items.
In case I purchase the merchandise by using the non-upgraded card, am I entitled to
the special discount as given to an upgraded member?
If your purchased volume meets the required condition, you are instantly entitled to discounts without having to get a new, upgraded card. However, if you miss the deadline to pick up the new, upgraded card, you must contact the King Power Member Club before you are entitled to the benefits as stated.
What should I do in order to upgrade my member card?
King Power membership is automatically upgraded after a member’s total purchase in one month at King Power Downtown Duty Free Mall reaches the required amount.
Do I have to change my member card after my membership is upgraded?
You can continue using the present card until you receive a new one. You can get the new card at the King Power Member Club within 15 working days of the following month.
What is condition in getting KPG Reward Points?
You receive 1 point for every THB25 purchase at the King Power Downtown Duty Free Mall and King Power Duty Free at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The accumulated points can be exchanged for brand-name products as stated in the Reward Catalogue. Check the Reward Catalogue at the point of sales, or at websitewww.kingpower.com
What should I do to claim my Birthday Celebration privilege?
King Power offers 2-tier special privileges to members in their respective birth months:
Tier 1
Purchase the first product at the King Power Downtown Duty Free Mall at the price of more than THB100 and you will get a cash back at 30% of the product value. After that you are entitled to Tier 2.
Tier 2
Purchase the first product at the King Power Duty Free Mall, Suvarnabhumi Airport, at the price of more than THB100 and you will get a cash back at 25% of the product value. (Only for member who has used Tier 1 privilege.)
** To redeem E-Purse, you must show your ID card or driving licence or any ID card issued by the government, together with your King Power member card.
Notice:
- You are allowed to exercise your Tier 1 and Tier 2 Birthday Celebration privileges within a 3-month period including your birth month e.g. if you were born on May 7, you can claim your privilege during May untill July.
- If the card expires, you are not entitled to the Birthday Celebration privilege, nor the privilege at the Ramayana Restaurant, Aksra King Power Theatre at the Pullman King Power Hotel and other King Power subsidiaries.
What do I have to do in order to use the King Power Lounge?
Simply show your member card upon entering the King Power Lounge at the King Power Downtown Duty Free Mall and King Power Duty Free at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Both lounges are accessible to you without the condition of minimum purchase. There are snacks, beverages and Wi-fi internet for your comfort and convenience.
